Declaratory Actions and Injunctions

There are times that an individual may be in doubt about his or her legal rights under, for example, a deed, will, contract, or other written instrument or, alternatively a party may have questions about his/her rights or status under a statute.  A declaratory action affords one the opportunity to obtain a legal declaration of one’s rights, status, or other equitable or legal position.  The attorneys of The Jackson Law Firm, P.A. will assist you in determining your legal status so that you can make informed decisions in your life.

Injunctions are available as a remedy to address a harm for which otherwise there might not be an adequate remedy at law.  Injunctions are deemed to be an extraordinary remedy and are, therefore, discretionary in nature.  Through an injunction, a court will order an individual or entity to perform, or refrain from performing, those actions set forth within the injunction.  Injunctions are designed to preserve the status quo and/or to prevent irreparable injuries where subsequent monetary damages might not serve to make the party whole.  The attorneys of The Jackson Law Firm, P.A. are experienced in obtaining and defending against injunctions in complex matters, and are ready to counsel you in this regard.

We encourage you to contact our firm to discuss your options regarding your case.
